세미나 소개

This event will focus on addressing the challenges of racialized trauma and promoting resilience within the Korean American community. Attendees will gain valuable insights on confronting racialized trauma while fostering strength and healing.

Ms. Jessica Kim has been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years. Her clinical practice spans community, school-based, government, and private practice settings serving youth, adults, and families. She is currently a PhD candidate of social welfare at the University of Pennsylvania where her research centers perspectives on trauma-informed practice among Korean American social workers. Ms. Kim is an activist and community organizer for the AAPI community, and advocates for multiple initiatives that promote culturally responsive mental healthcare for Asian Americans.

This event will provide an enriching opportunity to hear from distinguished expert Ms. Jessica Kim and learn more about her advocacy for mental health and AAPI community issues.
